Hasbro Review and Giveaway!

From America's Action Hero to a plastic potato, Hasbro toys and games are instantly recognized by millions of Americans. Hasbro makes G.I. Joe, Mr. Potato Head, and Transformers, and owns licenses for Sesame Street characters. Thanks to numerous acquisitions in the 1980s and 1990s, it also makes Playskool and Romper Room preschool toys, Tonka trucks, Kenner's Nerf toys, and Cabbage Patch Kids (by way of Coleco); and has become dominant in the area of board games such as Monopoly, Risk, Cranium, and Battleship.
  

Hasbro sent me the games Monopoly and Risk to review. These games are super fun and great game to play with your family or friends. Monopoly is a fun and fast paced real estate game where you try to beat out the other players and buy up as many properties as you can. My husband and I played Monopoly together one night after we put our daughter to bed. Unfortunately my husband won but I wasn't far behind. It was so fun buying up properties and using all of my "fake" money from the bank.

Risk is by far my husbands favorite board game. Risk is all about conquering the other players territories. Whoever has conquered the most territories by the end of the game wins. Risk can become a very, very drawn out game but that is what makes it so fun! There is lots of strategy involved in the game. That being said, this game is not a quick game...but rather a game that you really delve into for a long period of time. Super fun!
